TEV-DEM: The terrorist cells' attack on Hasaka comes with the direct support of Erdogan's government

Democratic Society Movement issued a statement commenting on the recent events in Hasaka city, that reads:

"The sleeper cells of ISIS terrorists again carried out explosions in Hasaka in order to cover up Ghweran prison break with car bombs and various weapons to smuggle ISIS terrorists from the prison to pose a new dangerous threat to humanity, and to create chaos and create a state of panic among the components of the city, especially the neighborhood people."

The statement stressed that "this terrorist action was not a coincidence, but rather coincided with the fourth anniversary of condemnation of Turkish occupation and its mercenaries in Afrin and the eighth anniversary of the declaration of Democratic Autonomous Administration in Rojava."

The statement added, "Turkish terrorist government, which is involved in war crimes and violations against humanity in occupied areas of Syria in general and Afrin, Serê kani and Girê Spî in particular, is now facing the crisis of collapse and it is not surprising that Turkish intelligence organized with other intelligence in the region to arrange and implement a series attacks on NES, which the recent bombing of Turkish state focused on Shahba, Tal Tmer, Ain Issa, Kobani, and recently Hasaka through its terrorist cells to target Gweran prison, which includes the terrorists who are like ticking time bomb, therefore, Turkey wants to create chaos among the peoples and create a means to target Democratic Autonomous Administration.

The statement indicated that "the attack of terrorist cells comes with direct support from Erdogan's terrorist government in order to undermine the democratic project and based on humanitarian principles and standards in the region, but with the efforts and sacrifices of Internal Security Forces "Asayish" and SDF forces, the attacks was planned by Turkish occupation state was thwarted, that could not bear the failure of ISIS terrorists, and its only hope is revenge for the failure of terrorism."

The statement affirmed, "We in TEV-DEM condemn the silence of international community on the issue of terrorism and its supporters who exploit this silence by continuing murder and criminality, and despite repeated calls and appeals by Autonomous Administration to establish international courts to prosecute the terrorists or prosecute them in their countries, but international community and United Nations evade from these tasks."

The statement called on "all components of the region, organizations, civil society institutions and all political forces to unite the efforts aimed at strengthening the resistance and the struggle to protect historical values and gains, we also extend our deepest condolences to martyrs' families and hope for a speedy recovery for the wounded."
