ISIS attacks leave 8 dead and wounded among Damascus forces in Deir Ezzor

ISIS mercenaries attacked points of Damascus government forces in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor, caused 8 dead and injured of the latter.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights documented killing 3 members of Damascus government forces and injury 5 others, as a result of an attack carried out by ISIS mercenaries, on outskirts of Al-Kashma town in eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor.

According to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: Death toll of Damascus government forces since the beginning of 2022 at the hands of ISIS mercenaries in the Syrian Badia has reached 15.

On January 6, three members of the Damascus government forces were killed, as a car carrying them was targeted by ISIS mercenary cells with bullets and RPGs in the Rusafa desert, northeast of Raqqa.

On January 3, ISIS mercenaries carried out a new ambush against the Damascus government and its loyal groups in the Syrian Badia, in oil station "T2, T3", which led to casualties, where 9 members killed among Damascus government forces, and the Fifth Corps and other groups, and wounded 15 others.
