Security chaos and almost daily assassinations in Dara'a

​​​​​​​Assassinations in Dara'a have become almost daily since Damascus government, conducted the so-called "settlements", during the last 24 hours, the area witnessed 4 unknown assassinations, with a state of security chaos in Dara'a and its countryside.

In the last assassination attempt occurred in Dara'a, Syrian Observatory for Human Rights reported that unidentified gunmen shot dead a man working in bread distribution while he was traveling in the town of Tsel in Dara'a countryside, without being able to injure him, so this incident is the fourth of its kind in the last 24 hours.

And yesterday, 3 assassinations took place in Dara'a city, where a young man working for "military security" was killed and his companion was wounded, after they were targeted with direct bullets by unknown persons in the  Dam road neighborhood in Dara'a, and there were 2 assassinations hours before, as two citizens were killed Shot dead, after they were targeted by unknown gunmen, near Libyan Company in town of Jalen, west of Dara'a, which is the second operation.

As for the first assassination on Monday, unknown gunmen shot dead two members of "Military Security" within the security of Damascus government, on vicinity of city of Al-Sanamayn in northern Dara'a countryside, which led to their deaths.

According to Observatory’s statistics, the number of attacks and assassination attempts in Dara'a and southern Syria, in various methods, through detonation of explosive devices, mines, booby-trapped mechanisms and shootings carried out by armed cells during the period from June 2019 to the present day, amounted to 1,305 attacks and assassinations.

While number of those killed as a result of these attempts during the same period reached 955,  are 4 local militants who rejected the latest settlements, 308 civilians, including 18 female citizens, and 26 children, in addition to 416 members of Damascus government forces and groups loyal to it, and 159 who made "settlements and reconciliations" and they are now in the ranks of Damascus government's security, including former leaders, 31 Syrian groups affiliated with Lebanese "Hezballah" and Iranian forces, in addition to 37 of so-called "Fifth Corps".
