The activities of the International Conference on Mesopotamian Religions and Beliefs were attended by religious and political figures from all over NE Syria, the Commissioner of the American International Committee for the Protection of Religious Freedom Nadine Meanza, the co-chair of the Democratic Society Movement Gharib Hesso, and the spokeswoman for the Syrian Women’s Council Lina Barakat, the co-chair of the Department of Foreign Relations of the Autonomous Administration For North and East Syria Abdul Karim Omar, the co-chair of the Executive Council of the Autonomous Administration in the Jazira region, Nazeera Ghoriya and Talaat Younes, the co-chair of the Health Authority in Northeast Syria, Joan Mustafa, the co-chair of the Syriac Union Party, Sanharib Barsoum, and representatives of the Yazidi House in Jazira region.
