AANES: Turkey's attacks on Kobane continuation of genocide

In a statement released today, the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria denounced the bombardment by the Turkish occupation forces on the city of Kobane and its countryside calling on Russia, the international community and the Global Coalition to Defeat ISIS to stop the denocidal campaign adopted by Turkey against the people of the region.

''on January 8 Turkish occupation army targeted the city of Kobane and its countryside causing 12 injuries including women and children and one martyrdom. This shelling is a clear message by Turkey to proceed with the war of genocide against our people and a defiance as well to the Global Coalition to Defeat ISIS and to Russia too that latter is committed to understandings with Turkey regarding border areas in NES. This escalation necessitates positions be clarified otherwise they will be partners to Turkey.

We condemn this attack and aggression, and we call on the international community and all active parts to take action quickly to terminate these acts that destabilize the region and we lay stress on the necessity of contributing to end this Turkish aggression and encroachment''.

We offer our heartily condolences to the family of the martyr wishing at the same time a speedy recovery for all injuries''.
