ANHA documents Turkish crimes in rural Gire Spi- 2021

Turkish occupation army proceed to shell towns and villages located on the frontlines with the aim of sowing fear and spreading terror to push civilians to leave their homes causing as well material damages and human losses.

After the occupation of Gire Spi by the Turkish occupation army all adjacent villages come from time to time under shelling, Xirbet Beqer, Eridhe, Sawan, Gur Hesen, Dibis, Hoshan, Siada, Mi'alagh, Khalidiye and others are constant targets for the Turkish occupation forces and the affiliated mercenary groups.

The operations resulted in 40 martyrs and injured civilians some from a single family passed away in massacres such as Safawiye, Hadriyat and tow massacres in Dibis villages. All these villages in the Ain Issa town of Gire Spi.  

ANHA's corre3spondents in the area documented crimes committed by Turkish occupation forces in 2021.

There were 15 martyrs: Mageed Ibrahim Ewedh, Roni Bakure Mihemed, Iman Saleh Sem'o, Mahmoud Himedi Khalil, Zaid Khelef Issa, Malek Muhareb Himedi, Idan Hemed Umairi, Khamous Bisaili, Hemed Khineis Cerbou'.

Four children martyred were: Ahmed Ibrahim Riheim, 12, Ziyad Ziad Khelef, 12, Huda Zaid Khelkef, 9, Muna Zaid Khelef, 7.

While those injured reached 27 ones: Qusai Hesen, Latifa Shadad, Fehed Shawakh, Abdul Rahim Mihemed Hemed, Zahra Saleh Sem'o, Najib Ibrahim Hemid, Aziza Cikhedim, Hesen Mihemed Hesen, Abdul Kareem Shalash, Aziza Shawkat Bozan, Khitam Hilal Shabher, Mizer Ibrahim Issa, Shiyar Ibrahim Issa, Ayham Umar Ahmed, Yaser Yusuf Heco, Zaynab Mihemed Shaerif, Mohamed Shaerif Ededh, Terfa Mer'i Nashi, Mohamed Fayez Minfi, Hisein Mihemed Abid, Hafez Ali Nayef, Memati Ahmed Ibrahim, Abdul Ghani Musa Da'boul, Luqman Faisal Subhi.

And three children : Emina Najeeb, 7, Sida Zaid Khelef, 1, and Reshid Hesen Khelef, 11. 

Turkish shelling on the canton continues, under the nose of the Russian forces which were deployed to the region of the frontlines with the Turkish occupation forces and adjacent to the strategically important Aleppo-Hasaka highway known as the M4, all in conformity with the Sochi Understandings concluded on 22 October 2019 hereby Russian Forces were to play the role of Guarantor to cease fire and save lives of people there.

Laila Misho, Co-chair of the Gire Spi Canton says ' continuation of these random and barbaric shelling will claim many other innocent lives'.

Laila said since ''Russian forces were deployed to the region they merely keep watching towards Turkish massacres and shelling without lifting a finger''.

Laila Misho called on the international community to move rapidly to stop the barbaric Turkish shelling and its mercenary groups on the region to avert more innocent victims''. 

Worth to note, in addition to human losses many material damages were also caused where 113 houses were destroyed and five villages were evacuated completely. Saida, Mi'alagh, Hoshan, Sawan and Eridha, were all left empty. Seasonal crops were also set ablaze.
