SDF: Kobane strike follows ISIS aborted attempt to storm Hasaka prison

In a statement released by the Media Office of the Syrian Democratic Forces, it was revealed that a big scheme to storm the Hasaka prison was aborted:

''Within our struggle against the terrorist ISIS organization our units in the last days carried out an intrepid act saving our people and the whole world against an imminent grave danger. The vigilance of our forces resulted in the abortion of a mass scheme that was to storm the Hasaka prison. All those were to participate in the scheme were arrested.

One of them is Mohamed Abid AL-Awad, that committed many massacres.

On those merry days corresponding to Christmas we express our thanks to our forces, the SDF, and the units of the Global Coalition to Defeat ISIS, that took part in the operation and we offer their victory to our people and the world at large.

In coincidence with this victory and on the same day it was announced it seems that the Turkish occupation state expressed its agitation and attacked our people in Kobane that led to martyrdoms and injuries.

We offer our condolences to the martyrs families and our people wishing a speedy recovery for all wounded stressing we will protect our people against these attacks and will avenge all these massacres and held aggressors accountable''.
