KNK congratulates Christians on Christmas

The Kurdistan National Congress, KNK, congratulated advent of Christmas, by saying, "We hope that this holy day will become a cause for peace, stability and human happiness around the world."

KNK's Administrative Body congratulated the Christians in Kurdistan and the world through congratulatory telegram which read:

"The birthday of Jesus is a sacred day in the Christian world, and for this purpose the 25th of December is Christmas. Where holy religious days are valuable and accepted in all religions, and every religion celebrates these glorious days with enthusiasm, joy and great celebrations among each other in their temples. There are a large number of believers in Christ and the Holy Bible, they are valuable and generous citizens, and within the Kurdistan National Congress also representatives of the Christian faith.

Christmas has been celebrated in Kurdistan for about two thousand years, where it has become an essential holiday in our country.

On this glorious day, the KNK congratulates the Christians in Kurdistan, the people and around the world with great respect and love, and we hope that this holy day will become a cause of peace, stability, goodness and human happiness around the world.”
