Kongra Star member calls up women to organize themselves against violence

In the four parts of Kurdistan, women are increasingly being targeted by politicians and intellectuals who organize society and inform women of their rights under the authoritarian and capitalist regimes that govern the occupied Kurdistan territory.

Rayhan Lauqu said that: "capitalist regimes that try to hold their feet on Kurdistan soil and force themselves, engage in all forms of violence to obliterate the identity of women in society."

"Kurdish women have taken responsibility for leading the uninterrupted struggle and resistance against these regimes at a global level, and the Turkish occupying state's violations of women have been first faced with systematic abductions and killings of women politicians, all of which amount to war crimes."

'Turkey must be held accountable for its crimes'

"The crimes committed by the capitalist and occupying countries of Kurdistan are crimes against humanity and in violation of the international laws issued by the United Nations, including the laws against violence against women," Rayhan Lauqu considered, stressing that the Turkish occupation state is violating the laws and must be held accountable.

Rayhan Lauqu called on all women in the world to raise the pace of struggle and resistance in the face of threats and violations against women, to organize themselves and unify their ranks to protect the gains of their revolution, and build a free society, citing a saying by the leader Ocalan, "With a free woman a free family is established, and with a free family we establish a free society."
