​​​​​​​Semalka Sit-in proceeds

Actions taken by Kurdistan Democratic Party show that it behaves under Turkish dictations as the Feishkhabur Border Crossing opposite Semalka in Rojava where the popular activity is being taking place demanding hand over of bodies of Tolhildan Raman and Serdem Cudi who were ambushed by PDK forces in the Khelifan Region earlier.

PDK forces reacted with tear gas and water cannons towards Youth Movement and Union of the Young Women then media outlets affiliated to PDK try to incriminate the legitimate reaction by protesters.

As the sit –in activity continues protesters have expressed their discontent to the close of the Feikhkhabur gate saying they would remain there until their demands met.

Member of the Darbassiye Council Shera Merzo one of the protesters said they would proceed the activity until their demands of delivering bodies of martyrs are delivered. '' bereaved mothers demand their sons bodies be handed over but PDK responded by closing the border crossing, we want to take steps for brotherhood but they behave in a different way.

Shera Merzo said they remain there on the hope bodies of martyrs be delivered to their sons to find peace and Kurds unite in the face of their real enemies.

In turn, Yasin Mahmoud, member to the Council, said 'martyrs of freedom are moral values and by rejecting delivery of bodies they do not make any advance in the process of brotherhood rather it distances itself from the process''. 

Yasin expressed his discontent to the acts undertaken by Kurdistan Democratic Party, '' our fellows organized an activity here but PDK forces pelted them with stones and fired at them and closed the border crossing. They show they do not want national unity''.
