​​​​​​​Social Contract: 50 % feminist participation substantiates right and presence 

Meetings of the concluding meetings of the broadened Committee for drafting a social contract in North Eastern Syria proceed with participation of all the 157 members, AANES representatives, political parties, Youth Movement, jurists civil society associations and communal activities in the region.

In last July a mini committee of 30 members was formed to work out a draft for a social contract in NES.

In the Mini Committee 15 members are males as another 15 are females as a hard proof that women lead their way in all political military and economic arenas in NES.

On the margin of the meetings ANHA met Siham Qiryo Co-chair of the General Council of the AANES and Member to the drafting committee who said ' after the social contract was drafted by the Mini Committee of 30 members, now all discussions are proceeding openly and views are posed democratically as all articles are open to vote.

Siham added all nationalities and religions are guaranteed their rights as well women and youths.

In turn, member of the Preparation Committee Maryam Ibrahim shed light on the breakthrough made in NES in this critical period.

Maryam said most notable is the presence by women politically and socially in NES after being surpassing bandage to freedom.

Maryam added the 50 % per cent presentation by women safeguards and guarantees all her rights adding they faced some challenges due to the authoritarian mentality by some that dominated women from the early dawn of history but women in NES was able to maintain herself and to take part in such an important a session for the region at large.

Maryam said the Social Contract is a democratic idea and a real one in NES via which women are represented politically, socially and militarily.
