First day of social contract committee concluded

with attendance by the Broadened Committee made up of 157 members and representatives of the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria, political parties, Youth Movement, lawyers, and many civil society associations in addition to social activities in the region, today activities of the meeting of the Drafting Committee of the Social Contract in North and East Syria kicked off in the Serdem Hall in the city of Hasaka.

A 30 membered Committee was formed by the Autonomous Administration on 15 July to work out on a draft social contract and to discuss it in broadened meetings with social activities in north eastern Syria.  

On the margin of the meeting of the first day that were concluded, Member of the Social Contract Drafting Committee Daham Satam was interviewed by ANHA.

Satam said'' many articles of the Draft Social Contract were rectified today in a democratic and conciliatory manner''.

Satam added the meeting is to be resumed tomorrow without giving any additional information.
