Kongra Star: Turkey's attacks on Rojava -Shengal mean its rejection of the democratic project

Kongra Star Coordination in Rojava, in a statement issued on Wednesday, denounced the recent Turkish occupation attack on the Shengal province, which affected the co-chair of the Autonomous Administration Council in Shengal, Marwan Badal.

The statement of Kongra Star confirmed that the attacks of the Turkish occupation have not stopped since the beginning of the Rojava Revolution and the establishment of the Democratic Autonomous Administration, and it is still continuing its attacks, targeting the leaders of the Autonomous Administration project.

The statement pointed out that the attacks of the Turkish occupation are carried out in front of the eyes of the world, but unfortunately when these attacks are launched against the Kurdish people and their project, human rights organizations and international forces follow a suspicious silence.

The statement clarified that the attack against the grandfather and national figure, the martyr Youssef Gilo, and his two grandchildren on the 9th of last November, was launched for the same goal, noting that the Yazidi people decided to organize themselves by themselves and to defend themselves against any other extermination campaigns, and to establish its autonomous administration, its army and its special security force face the killing machine daily.

The statement considered that the attack on the person of the martyr Marwan Badal Khodida means that the Turkish state does not accept the project of autonomous administration, and that it has fears of the spread of democratic thought, so it wants these attacks to sow fear in the hearts of the people.

The statement of the Star Star Coordination held the Iraqi state and the KRG responsible for the attack, and for allowing the Turkish occupation to use the airspace to launch its attacks on the region, stressing that "the martyrdom of our leaders enhances our determination and strength for revenge and the success of the Autonomous Administration project."
