SDF denies reality of news circulated about its intention to release 700 ISIS detainees

The Media Center of the Syrian Democratic Forces issued a press release in which it refuted what was reported by some local media about the SDF's intention to release 700 ISIS mercenaries, and confirmed that the nominal lists published by those media were fake and untrue.

The Media Center of the SDF said in its press release, which was published today, Tuesday, as follows:

"Local media reported false news about the intention of the SDF to release more than 700 ISIS mercenaries and those linked with the terrorist organization from the local mercenaries detained in the prisons of northeast Syria, and these parties attached their false news to lists of names claiming to be ISIS detainees, we confirm thay these news are false and the nominal regulations are fake and untrue, and were not issued by the relevant official authorities in north and east Syria.

The Syrian Democratic Forces renew their call to the international community to establish a special international court in the regions of northern and eastern Syria to try ISIS elements and achieve justice and redress for the victims to the most important propaganda files inciting ISIS to recruit more terrorists and carry out terrorist operations, which constitutes a threat to local and global peace and security.
