​​​​​​​Official recognition of AANES, privacy of SDF are two non-negotiable principles: Koçer

 The General Council of the Families of the Martyrs in North and East Syria organized a meeting that included the councils of the families of the martyrs in Tabqa, Raqqa, Deir ez-Zor, Manbij and Kobani, attended by representatives of the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria and the Democratic Civil Administration of the Tabqa region, in order to explain the latest developments on the  The political and regional arena, in addition to discussing a number of organizational matters for the councils and the conditions of the families of the martyrs.

 After a minute of silence, the deputy co-chair of the Co-Presidency of the Executive Council of the Autonomous Administration in North and East Syria, Hassan Koçer made clear many points regarding the mechanism of finding a common formula to solve the Syrian crisis and the nature of international relations in  Region.

 In the context of the Syrian crisis, Koçer said at the beginning of his speech, “Foreign countries do not count on a solution to the Syrian crisis. International goals are driven by interests on the ground. It is wrong to say that they want to resolve the crisis. In fact, they are manipulating the crisis according to their policy, far from whether that policy is going.”  According to the path of solution or success, but according to interests and nothing more.

 Turning to the policy of the colonial Turkish state towards the region, he explained in his speech, "The Turkish state today avenges ISIS, which was defeated in face of the resistance of the people of north and east Syria at the hands of the Syrian Democratic Forces. The Amman Agreement that brought together the Turkish state, the Kurdistan Democratic Party and ISIS in  2014 was aimed at sharing the geographical influence in northern and eastern Syria according to the presence and the extent of the military power of these parties in each area.

 In answering some of the questions about rumors circulated by the Damascus government about handing over some areas liberated by the Syrian Democratic Forces, he replied, “We have not and will not accept any military presence of the Syrian regime, which looks through the lens of hegemony and power.

He continued, stressing that "the AANES has not yet conducted any formal negotiations with the Damascus government, but was limited to some discussions and that the administration emphasizes the need for official recognition within the Syrian constitution and that the Syrian Democratic Forces are part of the Syrian army and enjoy complete privacy, these two items cannot be discussed or amended during negotiations."
