''Roj mercenaries" Families in sit-in tent, demand PDK hand over martyrs' bodies

Yesterday, a delegation of families whose sons fell into the trap of dealing with the Turkish occupation headed to the sit-in tent at the Semalka border crossing, to demand martyrs' bodies , ambushed by the Democratic Party gunmen in the Khelifan region on the 28th of last August.

the Sit-in tent at the Semalka crossing entered its 52nd day, amid PDK refusal to hand over the bodies of the martyrs to their families.

Citizen Zahir Sheikhmus, who is the brother of one of the "Roj mercenaries", said: "We are families of Roj came to Semalka border crossing, to demand the President of the Kurdistan Democratic Party, Massoud Barzani, and the official authorities in the Kurdistan region, to deliver the bodies of our martyrs of guerrilla fighters, it is not only our demand, but every honorable Kurdish family's."

In his part the citizen Abdel-Baqi Murad, from Tarbespiye,  brother of one of the "mercenaries of Roj",said, "We came here to say that we do not want our sons to participate in internal fighting or with Turkish occupation against the guerrillas."

As for the citizen Fares Suleiman Sally, from the city of Qamishlo, he said: "We came here to demand the bodies of our martyrs, so why the Democratic party has not handed over the bodies of our martyrs so far, we are full aware that our sons who joined the Roj Peshmerga are being pushed into cooperation with the Turkish occupation, this is a mistake ,they must retreat." and refuse to fight their brothers on the side of the Turkish occupation state".
