​​​​​​​ Hajj Issa: Assassination of 82-year elderly should have caused quite stir in world

 In addition to directing threats against northern and eastern Syria, the Turkish occupation state is attacking the people of the region with drones, targeting citizens and committing massacres.

 In the latest attack by the Turkish occupation, by drones, on the Hilaliya neighborhood in Qamishlo city, 3 civilian martyrs (Youssef Gulo, 82, and his two grandsons, Mazloum and Muhammad), and before that, 5 civilian and soldiers were martyred in the city of Kobani as a result of the Turkish occupation’s drone targeting the city twice within a week.

 On this, the co-chair of the diplomatic relations office of the Democratic Union Party in the Euphrates region, Bakr Haj Issa, said that "the Turkish state is built on the foundations of fighting wars, not on the foundations of democracy, because this government cannot maintain the permanence of its authority without war."

 Bakr Haj Issa pointed out that the Turkish attacks on northern and eastern Syria are aimed at exporting the internal Turkish crises abroad, which illustrate the doom of Turkey.

 He added, "Unfortunately, the Turkish opposition at home is a weak opposition that cannot stand the fascist policies of the Justice and Development Party, in addition to a stifling economic crisis that they are preoccupied with more than their preoccupation and their adherence to the spirit of resistance against Turkish fascism."

 He explained that Turkey does not only interfere in the north and east of Syria, but in several regions such as Armenia, Libya and Başûr (southern Kurdistan), thus destabilizing the security and stability of the region and creating crises to distract attention from its internal crises.

 Regarding the recent Turkish drone attacks, Hajj Issa noted that the world's position towards them is shameful, adding, "Because Turkish drones target defenseless civilians and their silence towards these Turkish violations should not be prolonged."

 The co-chair of the Office of Diplomatic Relations of the Democratic Union Party in the Euphrates region, Bakr Haj Issa, stressed that targeting the martyr Gulo family means targeting patriotic people who are symbols and role models for society, targeting peace in the region and seeking to sow fear among the components of northern and eastern Syria.

 Bakr Haj Issa said that "Turkey is attacking the people of the region with false pretexts, and the people must not remain silent about these crimes and Turkish attacks."

 He called on the Kurdish people all over the world to go out to the squares and organize sit-ins in front of foreign consulates because of their crimes.

 Haj Issa also called on the Kurdish political parties in particular to unite in the face of Turkish attacks and crimes, protect the gains made thanks to the blood of the martyrs, turn the military gains on the ground into political gains.

 Denouncing the moves of some Kurdish parties that cooperate with the Turkish occupation to legitimize the occupation in the occupied areas, Bakr Haj Issa said that “the calls that are directed to the people of the occupied areas to return to them under the occupation and the daily violations and crimes that occur there by some Kurdish political parties on the tongues of their administrators  legitimizing the Turkish occupation there."

 Hajj Issa concluded his speech by saying that "targeting Chloe's family was targeting the will of the Kurdish people, and this people must show a strong and strict reaction to such an attack, and that the assassination of an 82-year-old aged Youssef Chloe should cause uproar and indignation in the world."

 The death toll since last August has reached 23 civilian and military martyrs as a result of Turkish shelling with artillery and drones in separate areas of north and east Syria.
