​​​​​​​Kurdistan Digital Media Council launches a campaign to remove PKK name from the terrorist list

Kurdistan Digital Media Council issued a statement saying:

"Kurdish liberation struggle, which has been ongoing for 43 years with its international spirit, keeps the hope of Kurdistan people and other the peoples in freedom.

After divided it into four parts under the Sykes-Picot Agreement, Kurdistan was plundered by regional and international colonial powers, the Turkish state is one of them, targeting through cultural and physical genocide the Kurds; The Kurds did not accept the injustice and persecution practiced against them on their land that they live for tens of thousands of years, and they always rose up against tyrants and colonialists, and the last uprising reached this day, led by the Kurdistan Workers Party (PKK).

The PKK modernized itself in the light of democratic modernity model that was given to us by leader Abdullah Ocalan, who has been living in severe isolation conditions for 21 years, and dedicated his struggle to serve all oppressed peoples.

Rojava Revolution proved this struggle, how the feminist liberation struggle and environmental life, along with the struggle for the peoples’ freedom, reached the largest self-liberating power.

The legitimate struggle of PKK has been prohibited by the late Swedish Prime Minister Olof Palme assassination, the incident that later turned out to be a conspiracy, accordingly, PKK was classified as a criminal organization that does not recognize the general rights and freedoms of human, and all its activities were attempted to be prevented and obstructed….but the truth must appear, like any justice cause,  PKK in recent years has grown and reached a level that no power can ignore.

PKK turned into a people' power with global character and the people themselves have become the PKK, and the world has known the reality of PKK, and the ban imposed on PKK has become meaningless.

The PKK is the people, and the people cannot be banned."

According to the statement, the campaign will start on November 26, 2021 at 18:00 Brussels time and 20:00 Amed time (Kurdistan).

The Kurdistan Digital Media Council also noted that it will announce the campaign hashtag and all other details via the council's digital media addresses.
