Turkey's use of chemical weapons corroborates defeat

Since 23 April the last, Turkish occupation army is launching a ground offensive and air raids on the Guerrilla fighters on Kurdistan Mountains sparing neither evil species of weapons of which internationally prohibited ones.

On the issue, Valentina Ebdo, Co-chair of the General Council of Sheikh Maqsud and Ashrefiye of Aleppo told ANHA ''attacks by the Turkish occupation army against Southern Kurdistan are continuing in which heavy as well prohibited weapons are being used against the guerrilla in a bid to terminate the freedom movement and occupy the region. ''

Valentia said chemical weapons are used by Turkey to cover its failure and the heavy blows it incurs at the hands of the Peoples'Defense Fighters.

''Turkey uses chemical weapons against the Kurdish people in Southern Kurdistan to repeat the Halabja Massacre to exterminate the Kurds. But the Kurds are merely defending their rights and lands. No one can exterminate the Kurds''.

Valentina ''denounced the silence preserved by the international community saying this silence corroborates partnership with Turkey to kill the Kurds'', calling on international community to break silence and hold Turkey accountable for its criminal acts against the Kurdish people as soon as possible.

Worth to note that on 16 March 1988 under directives of Saddam Husain Iraqi planes unleashed chemical gases on the Kurdish city of Halabja killing five thousand men, women and children.
