SDF: Turkish occupation continues to provoke our forces by intensifying its movements and targeting civilians

The Syrian Democratic Forces, the SDF, confirmed that the Turkish occupation army and its mercenaries continue to provoke their forces on the fronts of Serêkaniyê and Girê Spî by intensifying their movements and targeting civilians with snipers, stressing that the SDF fighters are still committed to restraint and the de-escalation agreement.

The press center of the Syrian Democratic Forces issued a statement in this regard in which it revealed the latest field developments and said:

"The Turkish occupation and its mercenaries continue their attempts to provoke our forces in the occupied countryside of Tal Abyad and Ras al-Ain, including:

The occupation deployed a number of military vehicles in the western countryside of Tel Abyad and tried to provoke our forces in that area, as the movement of Turkish military vehicles continued for more than three hours.

The front of the village of Abu Surra in the western countryside of Ain Issa witnessed movements of Turkish armored vehicles that lasted about two hours.

In the eastern countryside of Ain Issa town, specifically in the village of Shirkrak, the mercenary snipers of the Turkish occupation created additional dilemmas for the residents of the area, who have become the target of the mercenaries, especially when they go out to the farms, impeding the residents' attempts to cultivate their lands and get their daily food.

Our forces continue to urge their fighters to exercise restraint within the framework of the de-escalation agreement."
