Afrin IDPs: people's revolutionary war, secures free life

 Self-protection is a mechanism for self-defense in the system of living organisms and is considered one of the basic pillars on which man focuses. Life depends on mechanisms to maintain its cycle and protect its existence, especially since man also needs, whether individually or as a society, to preserve the self from  for survival.

 The displaced people of Afrin, who have been living in al-Shahba canton for more than three and a half years, have followed the methods and principles of the People's Revolutionary War, especially in the villages on the contact lines with the Turkish occupation army and its mercenaries in the villages of al-Shahba canton and Shirawa district.

 And because clinging to the land is one of the principles of the people’s revolutionary war, the displaced people of Afrin are still determined to resist in the face of all forms of occupation and Turkish attacks on them, and with the meager capabilities and finding possibilities, the people work to secure their needs at all levels and take the necessary measures.

 In this context, a number of Afrin IDPs in Tel Rifaat district spoke to our agency about their readiness to repel any possible attack on them by relying on fundamental protection foundations and focusing on the principles of the people's revolutionary war.

Badrakhan Alto from Afrin IDPs says, "All living things on this land depend on self-preservation mechanisms as they need them, and nature and plants consider protection as their basis."

 'Substantial protection is one of the basics of society in al-Shahba canton'

 He indicated that the crimes of the Turkish occupation state and its mercenaries have continued against the people of nonoreast Syria since the beginning of the Syrian crisis, stressing that since their displacement by the Turkish occupation to the al-Shahba canton, the Turkish occupation has escalated the pace of their attacks on them on a daily basis by directly targeting them in the villages of al-Shahba canton and sub-district.  Shirawa.

 In the face of this reality, he adds: "We must protect ourselves from the attacks and violations of the Turkish occupation state and its mercenaries against us, and on this basis, fundamental protection has become one of the basics of society in al-Shahba canton."

 'Society should always be prepared for any emergency'

 Alouto explained that the displaced people of Afrin have taken the necessary measures to protect themselves and confront any attack by the Turkish occupation, calling on all segments of society, without discrimination, to always prepare for all attacks on the area, and to avoid relying on the military forces.

 Commander Abdullah Ocalan says: "If the people are not aware and trained, they will always be in danger. Therefore, training and awareness is an integral part of the revolutionary war, and everyone must know the enemy well and the means he uses against us. If we do not realize the reality of our enemy, we will not be able to defeat him."

 'All the oppressed peoples of the world were victorious by the resistance and the foundations of the revolutionary people's war'

 Citizen Fatima Haidar, one of the displaced women of Afrin, says that all the oppressed peoples in the world have won by the resistance because they took from the foundations of the people's revolutionary war as a basis for it.

 In her speech, Fatima indicated that within the framework of the legitimate right to self-defense, they are ready as a people to repel the attacks of the Turkish occupation and its mercenaries, saying: "The Turkish occupation state and its terrorist mercenaries should realize this well, because they will commit a grave mistake if they dare and target civilians."

 Fatima stressed that the people of northern and eastern Syria have entered a new stage to confront all dangers, which is the people's revolutionary war, and she continued, "All beings defend themselves to continue to live, and we Kurds and all components must defend ourselves and our dignity and preserve our language, culture and gains.  achieved with the blood of our martyrs.

 'The women of Afrin are ready to confront the Turkish occupation and stand by society'

 Fatima explained that as Afrin women in particular, who are considered the basis of society, they are ready to face all attacks of the Turkish occupation and stand by the community to organize them in the event of any emergency.

 In her speech, Fatima drew attention to the fact that the large crowds during the events and demonstrations confirm the determination of the people to resist in the face of all forms of attacks, and concluded by saying: "We are well aware that our resistance in al-Shahba is to guarantee our return to our home Afrin after its liberation from the Turkish occupation."

 The revolutionary people are the ones who sacrifice everything to reach their goal and accept living in the worst conditions for their goals, and work to establish a system of protection for themselves and the entire community to be part of this system. It is the people who are linked to their land and homeland and do everything for the land, sacrificing their children and soul to protect their dignity and honor.

 Rashid Bilal pointed out to the rumors and lies that the Turkish occupation state and its mercenaries spread on a daily basis by occupying the area and following special methods of war against the people in Tel Rifaat district.

 He added that the Turkish occupation seeks to empty the area of ​​its residents by throwing leaflets and promoting a new war on the area.  The Syrian regions who fled from the brutality of the mercenaries and ISIS outside Tal Rifaat and began to return to their homes again.”
