The campaign (It's Time for Freedom) to demand the freedom of leader Ocalan has entered its second year, and gained widespread support in Kurdistan and the world at large. The main goal is to get the freedom of leader Abdullah Ocalan, who has been detained under an international conspiracy since 1999 in Imrali prison.

The Turkish occupation state has imposed strict isolation on the leader, Abdullah Ocalan, for 3 years, amid new disciplinary measures against him. In addition to preventing him from meeting with his clients and relatives, he was prevented from walking in the prison yard.

The official of the Syriac Cultural Society - Qamishlo branch, Hanna Soumi, confirms the presence of dozens of politicians, militants and parliamentarians in the prisons of the Turkish occupation state, in addition to clerics and monks.

And Hanna Sumi indicated that the main goal of intensifying isolation is to prevent the directives of leader Ocalan from reaching the peoples of the region, and said: "Turkey tightens isolation and prevents him from meeting his clients and relatives, because with each meeting a new message comes out, and we notice great movements and activities at the global level, the Kurdish issue in the eyes of leader Ocalan.  It will only be resolved with other nations and peoples that believe in pluralism.”

On what is required of the peoples of the region to make the campaign (It is Time for Freedom), which has entered its second year and aims to achieve the physical freedom of the leader Abdullah Ocalan, the official of the Syriac Cultural Association, Hanna Soumi, stresses the necessity of the peoples’ uprising, holding Turkish consulates and embassies accountable in the world, and demonstrating in front of embassies.  Which supports the tyrant Erdogan and his party, which he described as the "ISIS Development Terrorist Party".
