KKS hopes other mercenary groups be targeted by Coalition

The statement reads:

''Information was circulated about the targeting a terrorist and former leader by a drone belonging to the Global Coalition forces in Syria, last Monday, the terrorist and former leader of al-Shura Council of ISIS " Sabahi al-Ibrahim al-Mesleh (nicknamed Abu Hamza al-Shuhail) with an air raid on his headquarters in the village of Adwaniya, which is located in the western countryside of the city Serekaniye / occupied Ras al-Ain, which resulted in the killing of him and a group with him.

The information confirmed that the terrorist (Abu Hamza Al-Shuhail) was among the most important and prominent leaders of ISIS, who fled after the military defeat of ISIS on March 23 - 2019 by the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) and the US-led Global coalition against ISIS, to the areas occupied by the Turkish state in Serekaniye, Tel Abyad, Afrin and other areas.

Several local and international reports confirmed that the areas under the control of the Syrian National Army, backed by the Turkish occupation, have become a safe haven for former leaders of ISIS and Al-Qaeda, while Turkey protects them publicly.

Human rights organizations and media outlets have recently documented and published that Turkey has brought in more than (50) people from the terrorist organization ISIS, and families smuggled from al-Hol Camp affiliated with ISIS and resettled them in Serekaniye and its countryside, in addition to bringing more than (2000) families of its mercenaries from other Syrian regions and also from abroad to the city. .

The information confirms that the terrorist (Sabahi al-Musleh) had a prominent role in the killing, torture, kidnapping and forced displacement of the original residents of Serekaniye / Ras al-Ain and its countryside, in addition to his main tasks of reviving the remnants of ISIS again in the region, in terms of training, financing and coordination with the intelligence and Turkish army, which poses a serious and double threat to the region after its occupation by the Turkish state.

We as the Displaced Peoples Committee from the occupied region of Serekaniye / Ras al-Ain in North and East Syria welcome and support these important military steps carried out by the Global coalition forces in Syria against terrorist leaders in the region, the most recent of which was the killing of the terrorist (Abu Hamza al-Shuhail) in the western countryside of the city of Serekaniye /Ras al-Ain. To target all terrorist armed factions that committed organized war crimes against civilians, as well as support efforts to complete the military and ideological end of terrorist organizations in Syria.

The importance of the step also comes after the faction of the Syrian National Army was placed on the terrorist lists, including Ahrar al-Sharqiya faction.

We also call the international community, once again, to carry out its legal and humanitarian duties by putting pressure on the Turkish state and the terrorist armed factions in order to withdraw from all occupied Syrian lands, including (Serekaniye - Afrin – Tel Abyad) to create the appropriate conditions for a sustainable peaceful solution for the Syrian crisis, the implementation of international resolutions, and the safe return of its original inhabitants without occupation.''
