Maya People: Ocalan thought lighthouse to all peoples

According to written history, the Mayan people in Central America and the Yucatan Peninsula dates back to the 19th century BC, and its population today is 7 million, despite aggression and occupation.  The indigenous Mayans, who closely follow the ideas of the leader Abdullah Ocalan and conduct many studies on them, condemned the international conspiracy.

 The Mayan people of Guatemala, in Latin America, said that prisons would not be able to stop the struggle, and emphasized the continuation of the struggle for a democratic and just world.

 A number of Mayan people spoke to our agency, and denounced the international conspiracy against the leader Ocalan and the continued strict isolation on him, and they also sent their greetings to the leader.

 Journalist Anastasia Mejía Terequez, who exposed corruption in the municipality of Guyabaj in 2020, and was subjected to a lot of pressure and imprisonment, condemned the conspiracy against leader Ocalan, and demanded his immediate release.  Anastasia Mekhia said: "They will not be able to stop the social struggle of the leader Ocalan by kidnapping nor will this captivity be able to stop the struggle of the peoples. Our struggle grows every day. For this; the leader Ocalan must be released. I send my greetings and love to the Kurdish people."

 Pallas Lewis, who in 2019 participated in the resistance against the advanced hydroelectric power plant of Akonor Hydra, and was subsequently arrested, said, "The arrest and isolation of the leader Abdullah Ocalan is a disgrace to humanity. He must be released immediately. We respect his views. I send my regards and respect to the people of Kurdistan who is struggling today for his freedom, and I call on everyone to continue the common struggle.Prisons will not be able to stop the struggle of the indigenous peoples to build a free and democratic world.

 "I and political prisoners from the Mayan homeland send our greetings to the honorable Kurdish people," said lawyer Isabel Solis, who lived through the Guatemalan massacre in 1982.  It also condemned the isolation imposed on the leader Abdullah Ocalan.

 Isabelle Solis noted that the ideas of leader Ocalan are a hope for all humanity.  She continued by saying: "Human rights and the freedom of the leader Ocalan must be respected, because his ideas and proposals are a light for all peoples. We indigenous peoples believe that ending the oppression of the state and authoritarian regimes is possible, through the struggle of peoples. Indigenous peoples continue to struggle in many parts of the world. Women struggle in  Every city is in our country, so I salute the struggle of Kurdish women.”
