Tal Abyad Council Commander: fighters inflicted heavy losses on enemy

In an interview carried out by ANHA with Riyadh Khelef, Commander of the Tal Abyad Military Council after the assault was aborted yesterday, he affirmed that mercenary groups were inflicted with heavy losses by Syrian Democratic Forces and Tal Abyad Military Council fighters.

''mercenary groups supported by artillery shelling coming from Turkish bases stationed in the area tried to infiltrate into the village of Dibis yesterday in an attempt of occupation and controlling the M4'', Khelef said confirming that heavy losses were inflicted on invaders.

Since 22 September areas adjacent to the international Aleppo-Hasaka highway known as the M4, are open to daily shelling. Dibis, Hoshan, Khalidiye, Mi'alagh, Ain Issa Camp, Fatseh, Misherfe and the Saqr Rest-House were all subject to shelling.
