On Monday, the Department of Foreign Relations of the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria made a statement, against the backdrop of the Kurdistan Democratic Party's continued kidnapping of the representative of the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria in Hewler, Jihad Hassan.

Kurdistan Democratic Party has continued to kidnap the representative of the Autonomous Administration, Jihad Hassan, 82 days ago, amid the deterioration of his health, according to the administration's representative in Southern Kurdistan (Başûr).

Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria, in its statement made in the department building in Qamishlo, by the spokesperson for the Department of Foreign Relations, Kamal Akef, confirmed the deterioration of the health condition of Jihad Hassan inside the prisons of the Kurdistan Democratic Forces, and said: "Without any legal justification, KDP continues the abduction of the representative of AANES, and his family and lawyers are not allowed to visit him, and he has been not referred to trail.

And he continued, "This arrest is inconsistent with diplomatic and political values and pre-national human rights and a clear violation of the law, as it is a diplomatic norm and values that the official authorities to which a person is affiliated are informed of the reasons for arrest when arresting any person who publicly engages in political and diplomatic work."

Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria, KDP and KRG have taken responsibility for the health status of their abducted representative, stressing that the perpetuation of the detention without convincing legal reasons is a matter of urgency and complicating the approach of rapprochement with Southern Kurdistan r, who "seek in AANES to be in the best of relations," while appealing for the immediate release of its representative in Hewler, Jihad Hassan.

In its statement, the Department of Foreign Relations in the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria called on human rights and humanitarian organizations to intervene urgently to find out the fate of "our representative in Southern Kurdistan, to allow his family and lawyer to visit him, to clarify the reasons for his arrest and his whereabouts, and to put pressure on the relevant authorities in the region to release him as soon as possible."

It is noteworthy that the Kurdistan Democratic Party (PDK) forces had kidnapped the representative of the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria in Hewler, Jihad Hassan, accompanied by two members of the Democratic Union Party relations, on the 10th of last June, while they were on their way to Erbil Airport to receive their guests, and on the 29th Last July, the Kurdistan Democratic Forces released the two members of the Democratic Union Party relations, 50 days after their kidnapping, while Jihad Hassan remained unaccounted for.
