People of Girkê Legê: Turkish attacks are result of conspiracies against region

The people of Girkê Leflgê district denounced the recent Turkish attacks on the areas of Şengal, Tal Tamr and Zarkan, and affirmed their continuation of the struggle against the Turkish occupation state.

Today, hundreds of people from district went out in a march to denounce the Turkish attacks on Şingal, Tel Tamer and Zarkan. The march started from Martyr Khabat Square and roamed the main street, chanting slogans that salute the resistance of Şingal and the resistance of the peoples of the region in the face of the Turkish occupation.

The march stopped in front of the mourning tent of the martyr Agid Girkê Legê who was martyred yesterday in the bombing of the Turkish occupation aircraft in the Tel Tamer district.

There, a member of the Revolutionary Youth, Muhammad Sheikh, gave a speech in which he indicated that they, as youth, affirm their support for the resistance of the SDF and the peoples of the region in the face of the attacks of the Turkish occupation, vowing to join the resistance until victory is achieved.

In turn, the co-chair of the Democratic Union Party in the district, Mustafa Mam Khair, noted that the attacks on Şingal and northeastern Syria did not occur from a vacuum, but were in agreement with the Iraqi government and with a green light from Russia, which are conspiring with the Turkish state against the peoples on its land.
