Two minors were brutally beaten by the Turkish Gendarmerie (border guards) while crossing the border strip separating the city of Ad-Darbasiyah and the territory of Bakur Kurdistan.

Turkish gendarmerie beat the minors Ahmed Saleh (16 years old) and Mohammed Saleh Matar (17 years old) while they were trying to cross the border separating the Ad-Darbasiyah district and Bakur Kurdistan lands, at about 3 am.

On Wednesday morning, the two minors from al-Hasakah were taken to the Martyr Khabat Hospital in Ad-Darbasiyah district due to their critical condition.

Ahmed Saleh sustained a fracture in the hand and the left leg, while Mohammad Saleh Matar sustained fractures in both legs and the left hand, and was subjected to violent blows to the face and nose.

Ahmed Saleh told ANHA agency, that for more than three hours he was severely beaten from all sides by 8 Turkish gendarmes who used knives and iron pieces.

While the reporter tried to speak to the other minor (Mohammed Matar), who was unable to speak due to his critical condition due to the blows to his face and nose.

According to Ahmed Saleh, after they were severely beaten, the Turkish gendarmerie threw them on the Syrian border side on Wednesday morning.
