Omar Saleh: We will not surrender to attacks

Omar Saleh asserted that the attacks came within the framework of the October 9^th, 2020 agreement between the Iraqi government and the government of the Kurdistan Democratic Party (PDK) and Turkish dictates, adding, "Through their attacks, they are trying to implement the agreement."

He pointed out that they sought to scare the Yazidis, undermine their will and force them to accept the agreement, but we Shengal people would not give up and would not accept their agreement, and the Iraqi Government and the Kurdistan Regional Government were responsible for the Turkish attacks.

The head of the Yazidi Freedom and Democracy Party, Omar Saleh, said, "What ISIS could not do; Turkey is trying to complete it and commit more massacres against the Yazidis, and stressed that the international silence towards its crimes makes it commit more of them, and he concluded his speech by saying, "We will avenge our martyrs, and follow in their footsteps. Now the Shengal people have organized themselves, and the perpetrators of the attacks must be held accountable."
