Various Kurdish political forces and parties must stand up to Turkish fascism

On Wednesday, the Kurdistan Democratic Peace Party issued a written statement regarding the Turkish attacks on Shengal and North and East Syria, stressing the need for Kurdish forces to unite their ranks.

Kurdistan Democratic Peace Party explained in the statement: "On Monday, August 16^th, warplane belonging to the Turkish occupation launched a treacherous and cowardly attack on Shengal, resulted in the martyrdom of the Commander of the Shengal Resistance Units, "Saeed Hassan" and his nephew, a fighter in the ranks of the units, and injuring 3 others.

The statement of the Democratic Peace Party affirmed that the new aggression against Shengal can only be described as a continuation of the ethnic genocide method that the "terrorist" ISIS mercenaries carried out in 2014 against the Yazidis in Shengal under the direct guidance and support of Turkey, which is trying today in various criminal ways and means to undermine the will of the Yazidis and take revenge for the benefit ISIS is defeated.

The statement drew attention to: "Just as the new massacre committed by the Turkish occupation in "Zergan" is inseparable from what happened in Shengal, the goal is the same, even if there are many and different places, which is to undermine the Kurdish will and identity and to eliminate the Kurdish people's aspirations for freedom and the restoration of their stolen rights."

Kurdistan Democratic Peace Party statement confirmed that the crimes and massacres committed by the tyrant Erdogan regime against the Kurdish people in Syria and Iraq, as well as its near-daily violations and arrests of Kurd politicians inside Turkey, would not have been possible had it not been for the shameful international silence that is an incentive and motivation for this criminal regime to continue its brutal acts, violating all international norms.

The statement said: "We are in the Kurdistan Democratic Peace Party, while condemning in the strongest terms the new Turkish aggression against Shengal and the Turkish bombing on Zergan, "we call upon the international community and the international organizations concerned to break their silence and to take a clear and frank stance on Turkey's repeated crimes against the Kurdish people. We also call on the Iraqi Government to take a frank and bold stance on Turkish aggression against its territory and its repeated targeting of Iraqi sovereignty.

It renewed its calls for various Kurdish political forces and parties with different names and directions to stand together against Turkish fascism, which does not distinguish between one Kurdish party and another and between Kurdish and other territories: "All its purpose is to eliminate any Kurdish voice or project wherever it may be."
