Tirbê Spiyê people: International, Arab silence means approval of Yazidis extermination

Under the slogan "International Silence Is Approval to Annihilate Ezid Khan's Will," dozens of people from Tirbê Spiyê district, with all its components, marched condemning the Turkish attacks on Shengal and denouncing the international silence and the silence of the Baghdad government and Southern Kurdistan.

The demonstrators gathered in front of the Kongra Star headquarter, east of the district, toured the central market and chanted against the Turkish occupation and the international and Arab silence.

The demonstrators stood at the end of the central market and there, in the name of the Yazidi Women's Union in Rojava, Hadiya Shemmo gave a speech in which she said that the silence of the Baghdad government and Southern Kurdistan indicates their weakness and their approval of the Yazidi people's extermination and demanded the international community to break its silence.

In the name of the Yazidi House in the district of Tirbê Spiyê Ziyad Restom delivered a speech in which he noted that the Turkish occupation is targeting the Kurdish people through the Yazidi people in Shengal, striking the Kurdish originality and heritage, describing the silence of the Baghdad and Southern Kurdistan governments as betrayal of the Kurdish people.

On behalf of the Yazidi Council in Europe, Bashir Shangali gave a speech in which he indicated that Erdogan is trying by all means to return Shengal to the marginalization it was before and does not want the Yazidis to have a force to protect them, and the daily attacks on Shengal confirm this.

The march concluded with chants saluting the resistance of the Shengal Resistance Units and denouncing the Arab and international silence regarding the Turkish attacks.
