​​​​​​​PYD coordinator in Lebanon condemns Turkish occupation attacks on Şengal

 This came in statement issued by the General Coordinator of the PYD in Lebanon, in which it said:

 "In these days, we are going through the seventh anniversary of the Şingal massacre committed by ISIS terrorists supported by the Turkish state, and in continuation of those massacres, the Turkish occupation started targeting it with drones, and targeting the leader's car in the Şingal Resistance Units ( YBŞ). This attack resulted in the martyrdom of comrade Saeed Hassan and his companions.  We in the Democratic Union Party (PYD) condemn and denounce in the strongest terms this attack.

 And all the fascist attacks aimed at exterminating the Yazidi people, and this is not the first time. These Turkish occupation attacks are nothing but a continuation and insistence on the extermination of the Yazidi people.  It is a blatant attack on the rights of the Yazidis and their will and Autonomous Administration.

 Just as “Mam Zaki” and Diyar Gharib were targeted by the Turkish fascist state 3 years ago, today, with the same goal, the leader Saeed, who has been fighting for years so that the Yazidi people can gain their freedom and organize themselves, has been targeted.  He played a key role in countering attacks on the front lines.  It also became the mouthpiece of the Yazidi people in order to show the suffering of the Yazidi people in the political arena to protect the Yazidis, he became a source of strength and faith for his people.

 The blood of the martyr leader Saeed will not be in vain, and our struggle and resistance will continue until the defeat of the Turkish fascism and its mercenaries, and in the spirit of sacrifice and redemption, thousands of his comrades will continue his path of struggle and resistance.

 We in the General Coordination of the Democratic Union Party appeal to all our Kurdish and Yazidi people in particular to raise their voices against the attacks of fascism and to stand by the martyrs and achieve justice for them.

 We renew our pledge to the martyrs that we will follow in their footsteps and achieve their goals to reach a free and democratic Shingal and protect our people."
