Hanna: escalation will impinge on efforts to combat terrorism

The official spokesman for the Syrian Democratic Forces came through a post on his official Facebook page, commenting on the eevents of the past four days, including the escalation of shelling and attacks by the Turkish occupation along the lines of contact from the al-Shahba areas to Tal Tamr in the Hasaka countryside.

 And he explained in his comment: "The artillery of the Turkish occupation forces began their violations four days ago, targeting the villages of "Al-Dardara - Sheikh Ali - Tal Al-Ward - Tel Hafian (Al-Asfouriya) - Tel Shanan" and many other areas with a large number of shells and missiles amid the flight of drones over the region".

Hanna noted the losses caused to civilian property, in addition to the injury of a woman named "Maryam Sheikh Saleh" in the Assyrian village of Tal Shanan in the eastern countryside of Tal Tamr.

 Hanna pointed out, "Our forces took a defensive role that guarantees the safety and protection of civilians and repelled any attempt on our areas, then responded to the sources of fire and inflicted losses on the mercenaries and the occupation forces."

 In his speech, he also pointed out the seriousness of the continuation of these violations amid the silence of the international community and the active countries in the Syrian issue, and said: "We affirm that such an escalation will definitely affect our efforts to combat terrorism and secure the prisons and the camps that we secure."

 He concluded his speech by saying: "We stress the need for the Russian armed forces to assume their responsibility in controlling the line of contact and stopping these violations committed by the occupation forces."
