PYD: Shengal onslaught breach against Iraq sovereignty

A statement was issued by the General Council of PYD reads:

''yesterday Shengal was a target for the fascist Turkey again, Sa'id Hesen commander in Shengal Resistance Units was assassinated, along with his comrade Issa Khudida, at the center of Shengal with no regard to civilian lives that were injured in this barbaric onslaught. 

This onslaught coincides with the third annual anniversary of Mam Zeki Shengali martyrdom and was carried out in the very same manner, that indicates Turkish fascism is eager to leave our Yazidi people without leadership.

We ought to know that Shengal is not left alone but the whole Kurdish people stand with it, for our deeply -rooted origins are there, Shengal survived all firmns and preserved its Kurdish originality throughout history. Every honest Kurd should take its side I standing up to every dirty attempt that targets Kurdish roots.

Shengal is a part of the Iraqi state that entails Iraq to defend Shengal and do not preserve silence in the face of these barbaric aggressions. Silence encourages the aggressor to expand more in its trespass.  

It council called on all political powers and Kurdish parties not to remain silent and hands folded but to take the side of ''our Yazid people that defends dignity of Kurds in general''.
