Lailal Ahmed: Jihan Hesen abduction serves Kurds' enemies

Laila Ahmed Co-chair of the Kobane Council confirmed that the abduction by the Kurdistan Democratic Party, the PDK, of AANES representative in Southern Kurdistan serves just enemies calling on the party to return to Kurdish values.

Authorities of the Kurdistan Democratic Party, continue to detain AANES's Jihad Hesen though his health conditions are deteriorating.

Jihad Hesen, representative of the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria to Hewler, and Mustafa Khalil and Mustafa Aziz both members of Relations of the Democratic Union Party, the PYD, were all abducted by authorities of the Kurdistan Democratic Party, the PDK, on 10 June 2021 at the Erbil International Airport as they were going to receive some guests.

Both PYD's Mustafa Khalil and Mustafa Aziz were released on 29 July after being abducted for 50 days while Jihad Hesen remains up to date held as his health deteriorates.

Based on assured information received on August 2, the Political Representation of the AANES to Southern Kurdistan said that Hesen's health was deteriorating, holding PDK the whole responsibility for Jihad's condition.

In this relation, Laila Ahemed Co-chair of the Kobane Council denounced abduction by the Kurdistan Democratic Party of AANES representative in Southern Kurdistan Jihad Hesen calling for his immediate release dubbing the cases as ''serving just enemies of Kurdish people'', as his health deteriorates according to delicate information.

''the government in Southern Kurdistan commits a mistake at a time Kurdish unity is urgently needed, PDK specifically behaves against interests of the Kurdish people and its cause and works to create rifts in the Kurdish circles'', Laila said.

Laila appealed to Kurdistan Regional Government notably the Kurdistan Democratic Party to return to Kurdish path and to work in compliance with interests of the Kurdish people and to find solution to the Kurdish Cause stressing that abduction of Hesen serves enemies of Kurds more specifically Turkey that endeavour to create an intra-Kurdish fighting.

Up to date officials in the PDK have not given any verification for the abduction of Hesen that runs against all diplomatic and political values and laws.
