 Çiya Kurd's speech came during an expanded public meeting organized by the Democratic Union Party in the Swiss city of Bern, attended by dozens of members of the Kurdish community, in order to get acquainted with the latest developments in the region

AANES is going through a historical stage

 Çiya Kurd opened his speech by addressing the current stage, describing it as historical by saying: "The stage we are going through is historical. On the one hand, the AANES is moving towards recognition and is witnessing more political openness than before, and on the other hand, Turkey seeks, in various possible ways, to exterminate this experience and spread extremism. In the region as it does in the occupied areas in the north of the country,” he added, “The only undeniable fact is that there is no solution to the Syrian crisis without the Autonomous Administration and the will of its components. It is no secret to anyone that the main reason for prolonging the crisis is the intervention of regional parties and their efforts to move it according to their interests. narrow at the expense of the Syrian people.”

The international community is indebted to the peoples of the region

Çiya Kurd noted the role of the international community, especially the Global Coalition, the United States and the Russian Federation, in resolving the Syrian crisis on the one hand, and their duty towards the peoples of northern and eastern Syria in the face of Turkish threats on the other, and said: "The peoples of northern and eastern Syria sacrificed in order to defeat terrorism represented by ISIS. This war killed thousands of martyrs in order for the world to enjoy safety, but this did not suit the Turkish state, which is practicing genocide against the Kurds in front of the whole world. The international community must move to stop these policies, as it is indebted to the peoples of the region. Its position on the Syrian crisis It is the right of our peoples to live in safety and lasting stability, and any delay in that means prolonging the crisis and spreading terrorism again.

We must work to make the occupied territories an issue of public opinion

As for the areas occupied by Turkey, Jia Kurd addressed them by saying: “It is no secret to anyone that the situation of the areas like Afrin, Serêkaniyê and Girê Spî is related to the general Syrian situation and future Syria, especially the international agreement regarding the country, but this does not mean that we stand idly by in front of our efforts The Turkish state to change the demographics of the region, these areas are our priorities and all our political and diplomatic endeavors aim to consolidate stability and expose the practices and policies of the Turkish state and this is also what every Syrian and Kurdish at home and abroad must do.
