Nura Hamid: US could have averted Hevrin Khelef murder

Deputy Co-chairmanship of the Manbij Executive Council and Rural Areas stressed that sanctions imposed by US on mercenaries backed by Turkey in Syria are not enough calling on US administration to put into practise these decisions.

On July 28 the US Treasury Department imposed sanctions on a group of Syrian mercenaries backed by Turkey of whon Abu Hatem Shaqra of the Ahrar Sharqiye murderer of Hevrin Khelef Syria's Future Party Secretary-General on the internationally strategic M4 Aleppo-Hasaka highway known as the M4 after Turkish invasion of both Sere Kaniye and Tal Abyad.

Deputy Co-chairmanship of the Manbij Executive Council and Rural Areas stressed that ''sanctions imposed by US on killers of martyr Hevrin Khelef are not enough, US forces were very close to the murder scene and did not take action, these sanctions came too late''.

''Turkish state ought to be hold accountable for it is that sponsors terror and factions in Syria to expand influence in the region'', Nura said.

''factions backed by Turkey commit horrendous crimes against people in general and women in specific in occupied areas, the international community just preserves silence towards rape, abduction, robbing and imprisonment in occupied areas''.

At the end. Deputy Co-chairmanship of the Manbij Executive Council and Rural Areas called on for holding mercenaries backed by Turkey in Syria accountable for all crimes and offences committed to justice to be done.
