PYD's two members released

The Kurdistan Democratic Party's forces had kidnapped two Members of the Democratic Union Party's Relations in Hewler, Mostafa Othman Khalil and Mostafa Aziz, and Representative of the Autonomous Administration in Hewler, Jihad Hassen, on June 10, 2021 at 03:00 while they were on their way to Erbil Airport to receive guests.

On the reason for their arrest, PDK officials have not yet provided any information to the Democratic Union Party and the Autonomous Administration, and requests to visit them have not been received.

Fifty days after their abduction, Two Members of the Democratic Union Party's Relations in Hewler, Mostafa Othman Khalil and Mostafa Aziz, were released, while Representative of the Autonomous Administration in Hewler, Jihad Hassen, is still kidnapped, without explaining any reason for his abduction.

According to the information provided by Representative of the Democratic Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria in Hewler, during the abduction, no charges were established against PYD's two members, and they were released without being brought to trial.

Representatives of the Autonomous Administration also explained that they asked to know the reason for not releasing the Administration's representative, Jihad Hassen, but their request was not answered.
