Sheikh Clan in Raqqa condemns Syrian Foreign Ministry statements

Syrian Foreign Ministry stated last Thursday that the Autonomous Administration is touring countries to promote its separatist project (Autonomous Administration) said that these statements are regarded as a consolidation to centralization by the "Syrian regime" and contribute to the perpetuation of the Syrian crisis.

In this context, Sheikh of Sabkha clan, Mohammad Turki al-Suwan, decried the recent statements from the Syrian Foreign Ministry, stressing that the people in north and east Syria are Syrians in the first place and are no less patriotic than those Inland Syria, stressing the unity of Syrian blood and Syrian soil.

"We liberated the north and east of Syria, and those who liberated it are our children who possess Syrian nationality and identity. We do not accept the statements of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and they must apologize their false statements and accusations," said Turki al-Sawan.

"We in AANES seek to live in peace, we wish to be an administration that contributes to the resolution of the Syrian crisis, and we seek recognition from the international community of our efforts to eliminate ISIS terrorist organization."

Mohammad Turki al-Suwan considered that the statements of the Syrian Foreign Ministry are not expected, and those who made them should apologize, and no one can deny our Syrian nationality and our identity, whoever it is. He described these statements as provocative and hurt the feelings of the Syrians.

Sheikh of Sabkha clan called on the international community and Damascus Government to recognize AANES, for what it has presented, stressing that it was a national and not a separatist project, as stated in the statements.
