KNK-Rojava symposium to be a milestone for Kurdish Issue

Qamishlo Canton's people stressed that preparation for symposium to be held by the Kurdistan Nationalist Congress- Rojava, to discuss defeating the occupation through national unity, was an important turning point in the Kurdish issue, hoping that the smposium would have a promising outcome at the Kurdish level.

Under ''Via Nationalist Unity We Will defeat Occupation and Block Infighting'', Kurdistan Nationalist Congress –Rojava is preparing for an expanded symposium scheduled on July 8th. The conference will discuss two main issues, namely, the dangers of Turkish attacks on the Kurdish people and the need to unite the Kurds.

In this regard, citizen Abdul-Baqi Hussein from the city of Qamishlo said that this symposium constitutes an important step towards achieving the unity of the Kurdish rank, stressing that Kurdistan Regional Government should not be deceived by the Turkish enemy, which seeks to sow strife among the Kurds and divide them, “Turkey is an occupying country.” Its main goal is to impose its hegemony on the Kurds and to occupy Southern Kurdistan and North and East Syria,” he said, wishing at the conclusion of his speech that the forum would achieve positive results for the Kurds.

For her part, citizen Hadiya Saa'doun called on Kurdish political parties to renounce narrow personal interests that run in the interests of the enemy, and to return to the table of dialogue, appealing to all Kurds throughout Kurdistan not to be drawn into the sedition that Turkey seeks to ignite.

Hadiya said that this symposium would constitute an important turning point in the Kurdish issue, "It should have been held a long time ago, and this symposium will be a response to Turkey's attacks," hoping that this forum will carry with it desired results at the Kurdish level."

On the other hand, citizen Abdullah Hamza, from the city of Dirk, said: "As has recently been noted, vigilance is required with regard to the vicious Turkish attacks on Southern Kurdistan and Rojava, because the Turkish state seeks to create discord and civil war between the Kurdish people, and therefore it requires everyone to be careful about these plots."

Barzan Haj Thalaj, from the village of Ma'shuq, in Tirbespiyê district, said that their main demand from the Kurdish parties is to meet aspirations of the Kurdish people and declare national unity to confront the Turkish occupation.
