SDC: Abdel Hakim Bashar's statements are irrefutable evidence of actual participation in massacres

Abdel Hakim Bashar, deputy head of the so-called "Syrian Coalition" and a leader in the Syrian Kurdish National Council (ENKS) stated fabrications with no link to reality about the crimes that are happening in occupied Afrin against the Turkish occupation and its mercenaries.

To condemn this, the Syrian Democratic Council issued today a statement to the public opinion, which included,

"In a clear escalation, in contradiction to the lowest cases of Syrian patriotism and the principles of morality in dealing with humanitarian issues and in contrast to what is happening in reality, figures of the so-called "coalition" have recently made false statements denying the practicing of any violations in occupied Afrin, such as those made by the so-called Abdel Hakim Bashar, and this coincided with the statements of his head, Nasr Hariri, and the coalition's media office, calling for further Turkish occupation of north Syria areas."

The council continued in its statement, "We in the Syrian Democratic Council condemn and denounce these fabrications and slanders, and we strongly reject what was said by the so-called Abdel Hakim Bashar and his falsehoods that there are no violations practiced at the hands of the mercenary factions affiliated with the Turkish occupation, knowing that they have become known, circulated and proven in reports of Human Rights Organization, Amnesty International, and many Arab and local Syrian human rights organizations and institutions. We call on these bodies and all human rights stakeholders to see the reality of the situation in occupied Afrin. We also strongly reject the clumsy perceptions against the Syrian Democratic Forces."

It stressed, "This is considered irrefutable evidence of actual participation in the massacres that took place, the policies of displacement and demographic change and the seizure of our people's empowerment in occupied Afrin. The Kurdish National Council bears the same responsibility if it does not make its position on such statements by its representatives in the coalition. The same applies to all Syrian national forces to assume their responsibilities, and to expose their policies that stem from false attempts to legitimize the Turkish occupation and justify its crimes against the people of Syria and its authentic components."
