Al-Obeidi: Turkish troops and its mercenaries must leave Libya to maintain regional security

The spokesman of the Commander-in-Chief of the Libyan National Army, Major General Ahmed Al-Masmari, described the entry of the Turkish Minister of Defence, Hulusi Akar, into Tripoli without coordination with the Libyan State as a violation of State sovereignty, asking "Where is the international community from this violation?

The Turkish Minister of Defence, Hulusi Akar, during a surprise visit by Libyan authorities without the knowledge of Mitiga Airport, considered his country's forces in Libya "not foreign forces," as he described it.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights reported that on March 8^th, Turkey sent 380 mercenaries to Tripoli, while more than 6,630 are still on Libyan soil.

According to the Observatory and observers, there are Turkish intentions to keep groups of Syrian mercenaries in Libya to protect Turkish bases.

"Turkish provocation and arrogance"

And about that, said Libyan researcher and academic Dr. Jibril Al-Obeidi, speaking to Hawar news agency ANHA: "The visit of Erdogan's War Minister to Libya exposed the Turkish presence after meeting with Turkish officers whose presence in the west of Libya occupied by Erdogan's troops and mercenaries has been denied by the Turkish President their presence in the Libyan West, pointing out that the visit is an attempt continuous Turkish provocation and arrogance for the free Libyans. Indeed, the visit was an insult even to Erdogan’s Libyan followers, as he did not save their face in front of their supporters.

Turkey Seeks to mix Paper"

The Libyan scholar and academic pointed out that "Turkey is trying to mix the papers before the Berlin II Conference and is trying to create a fait accompli and impose it for negotiation. But the Libyan crisis cannot be resolved. However, there can be no solution to the Libyan crisis. It is therefore an urgent need to stabilize Libya and maintain a balance in regional security.

"The Turkish regime used some hired rifles."

"Indeed, the Turkish regime has transferred part of the Syrian mercenaries in Libya to other conflict areas where the Turkish regime has a messed-up role, especially the Balkans, to blackmail Russians and will do so elsewhere."

In concluding, the Libyan scholar and academic pointed out that "the regime has been, and continues to be, an American regime and therefore it is not surprising to send troops to Afghanistan and Kashmir in particular," noting that "the Turkish regime has used Syrian, Kurd and Turkmen hired rifles, exploiting conditions of war, poverty and displacement."
