Ahmed: Arrest of PYD representatives is continuation of political extermination

Mustafa Ahmed, the co-chair of the PYD in al-Hasakah canton, described the arrest of representatives of their party and the Autonomous Administration by the KDP authorities as a continuation of the political annihilation policies pursued by Turkey and its allies against the Kurds.

Commenting on this issue, Mustafa Ahmed ANHA agency: "In fact, the recent attacks launched by the Turkish occupation on the Medya are aimed at exterminating the Kurdish people, and their negative effects are reflected in the four parts of Kurdistan. It was noted that the Kurdish people support the historical resistance shown by the Guerilla forces in the face of the Turkish occupation, which aims to restore the glories of the Ottoman Empire.

Ahmed added: "But unfortunately, the regional government has been silent and even been cooperative in launching these attacks to besiege the areas under the control of Guerilla. They are trying to give legitimacy to the attacks of the Turkish occupation and push to Kurdish infighting."

The arrest of representatives of the Autonomous Administration and the PYD is the approach of the Turkish occupation policy in the political extermination of the Kurds.

In the context of his speech, Mustafa Ahmed said: "The Kurdistan Democratic Party's arrest of representatives of the Autonomous Administration and our party's representative in the Kurdistan region comes within the Turkish policy that aims at political extermination, as the Turkish occupation does in Bakur Kurdistan and arrests Kurdish politicians from the HDP."

He continued, "We see that these actions are considered a betrayal of the Kurdish people, so that we are trying by all means to reach one Kurdish opinion, while the Kurdistan Democratic Party does the opposite."

"The interests of the Kurds must be considered and the representatives of the Autonomous Administration and the PYD be released."

Ahmed called for the necessity for all Kurds, political parties and intellectuals to work for the interests of the Kurds because in the current stage if there is fighting between Kurdish forces, it will affect the Kurdish people wherever they are.

At the end of his speech, Mustafa Ahmed called on the regional government to reveal the fate of the representatives of the Autonomous Administration and the Democratic Union Party, as they are working for the cause of their people and their land, and their arrest causes sensitivity among the Kurdish parties at the sensitive stage in which we must unite, and release them.
