On the 10th of June, tens of thousands of Al-Jazira residents participated in the "March of Dignity against Occupation and Betrayal", in Qamishlo, voicing their unified position towards the occupation and betrayal.

On this march, the co-chair of the Democratic Society Movement, Zalal Jakar, said that a clear and explicit position was expressed for the KDP, which must immediately withdraw its forces from the region.

'The KDP must back down'

Zalal Jager explained that the people once again determined their position on their dignity, and said, "The position was clear about the occupation and treachery. The Kurdish people reject fraternal fighting, because they are well aware that this war will bring disasters. Therefore, the KDP is demanded to withdraw Its forces are from the region. Our people are aware of the fact that the Kurdistan Liberation Movement, the Peoples' Defense Forces and the Kurdistan Workers’ Party get involved in a war against the KDP, or clashes with the Peshmerga. The truth is that the Turkish state occupies the region, and the PKK is resisting it. Accordingly, Rojava expressed its position on it, and stressed the need for the Kurdistan Democratic Party to retreat from its plans with the Turkish state.

Zalal Jager said that several positions are expressed regarding these conspiracies, added, "The people confirmed their unity through the march that was organized in Qamishlo, but unfortunately on the same day representatives of the Autonomous Administration and the PYD were arrested in Erbil. This confirms that the KDP is involved to the end in the policies of the Turkish state against our people."

'Everyone must stand up to the policies of the KDP'

Zalal Jagar called on everyone to express their position to end the treason and the occupation of Kurdistan, and said, "Not only in the regions of northeast Syria, the Kurds must express their position immediately. The KDP and the Peshmerga must also not be drawn into these ploys. Everyone must stand firmly in the face of its positions.

'If the KDP insists on treason, the consequences will be catastrophic'

Zalal Jagar noted that if the Kurdistan Democratic Party insists on its positions, despite the people's position, the consequences will be catastrophic for the Kurdish people, "The Turkish state, which is trying to impose its authority on our homeland and the Middle East, does not want the Kurds to win in this century. , especially that this century will be the century of the peoples demanding freedom and the Kurdish people, and in order to achieve their goals, all dirty policies and practices are being practiced against the freedom of the Kurdish people. And it will have a great danger to the Kurdish people, and the consequences will be catastrophic."
