In a statement yesterday, the co-chair of the leadership body of the Kurdistan Communities Union called for a stand in the way of the policies of the Kurdistan Democratic Party (PDK) that set the stage for intra fighting by besieging HPG concentration areas that resist attacks of the Turkish occupation army on legitimate defence zones and Southern Kurdistan.

Commenting on the call of the Kurdistan Communities Union, co-chair of the Movement for Democratic Society TEV-DEM Ghraib Hesso, said in a telephone call that "We, the Movement for Democratic Society, are closely monitoring the situation. There is a great danger as a result of the Turkish Occupying State's attacks on Kurdistan with a view to exterminating and eliminating the will of Kurds."

Hesso highlighted Turkish efforts to provoke intra fighting between the Kurdish forces, "Turkey seeks to involve the Kurdish parties in these attacks."

He stressed that "what is more dangerous than the Turkish attacks is the internal fighting. The enemy seeks to implement this policy."

Hesso highlighted the painful blows suffered of the occupiers, "The Turkish state is defeated in the confrontation with Guerilla and seeks to relieve pressure on itself, hide its defeats, and search for partners."

And he continued, "The partner is the Kurdistan Democratic Party. The participation of the Kurdistan Democratic Party is a great danger and does not serve the Kurds or Kurdistan."

Hesso called on Kurdish parties and forces and civil society organizations in parts of Kurdistan, especially in Southern Kurdistan, to put "great pressure on the Kurdistan Democratic Party to discourage them from participating in the attacks of the Turkish occupation."

He stressed that "the Kurdistan Democratic Party should not be on the side of the enemy if it is not willing to stand on the side of the Kurds."
