HPG: Zagros Hawks kill 13 occupation soldiers

In its statement, the Media Center of the People’s Defense Forces talked about the details of several air and ground military operations the HPG carried out against the Turkish occupation army.

The center said that the forces of Martyr Dalal Air Defense carried out, yesterday, a successful operation against the Turkish occupation in Azada hill in the Matina region, and on the 7th of June, they managed to eliminate at least one soldier in Khakork as a result of a military operation as well.

The HPG Media Center also indicated in its statement that the forces detonated 3 explosive devices on a road in Avashin area while the Turkish occupation forces were passing by, but the number of dead and wounded in this operation was not clear to them.

The statement also talked about the killing of two Turkish soldiers in Warkhli Square, Avashin District, on June 7.

In the same place, on June 9, the statement said that the HPG killed 3 of the occupation soldiers with individual weapons, in addition to detonating explosive devices in the same area, as a result of which a soldier was killed and two others were wounded.

The Media Center also clarified that HPG faced a gathering of the occupation soldiers and were able to eliminate 6 of them and injure one soldier.

The statement spoke of the continuation of the battles in Warkhali square, against the backdrop of the occupation soldiers' attempt to storm the fighting trenches of HPG.

'No losses in the ranks of Guerilla as a result of the air strikes'

Regarding the air operations of the occupation forces in the Legitimate Defense Zones, the statement of the Media Center of the People’s Defense Forces said that the warplanes targeted the Gara area yesterday with two raids.

Besides, , the statement stated that the occupation attacked the Khakorki area with combat helicopters yesterday, in addition to targeting the Warkhali square in the Avashin area.

The statement also talked about the helicopters targeting several sites in Avashin area yesterday, while the Zap area was bombed yesterday by warplanes.

The Media Center of the People’s Defense Forces confirmed that there were no losses among their forces as a result of these raids and air strikes of the Turkish occupation in the framework of its attacks on Southern Kurdistan.
