AANES delegate discusses Important files with French side  

A delegation representing the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria is discussing with the Foreign Relations Committee of the French Parliament, a number of important issues and challenges facing the regions of North and East Syria, most notably the files of the Syrian crisis and ISIS mercenaries, in addition to focusing on the file of reconstruction.

The AANES delegation has been visiting France since June 7, at the official invitation of the Foreign Relations Committee of the French Parliament, and the visit is scheduled to continue until June 11.

The delegation includes the Vice-President of the Executive Council of the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria, Hamdan Al-Abed, and the co-chair of the Raqqa Civil Council, Laila Mustafa, the official of the Office of Foreign Relations at Rojava University, Gulistan Sido, in addition to Abd al-Salam Mustafa, representative of the Autonomous Administration. Europe, and Khaled Issa, representative of the administration in France.

The committee held several meetings with the delegation in which it discussed the file of the Syrian crisis, ISIS detainees in the prisons of the Autonomous Administration, and their families (ISIS women), as well as the role of European countries and France to end the Syrian crisis. An introductory film was shown in the city of Raqqa, known as the "Capital of the Caliphate". Previously, and later liberated from ISIS mercenaries.

Yesterday, a delegation representing the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria delivered a speech before the Foreign Relations Committee of the French Parliament, amid wide coverage by the French media of the delegation's speech.

In a special statement to our agency, the co-chair of the Raqqa Civil Council, Laila Mustafa, said that this visit came based on an official invitation, during which a number of meetings were held with the French side, in order to discuss a number of important basic challenges facing Syria in general and the regions of north and east Syria.

She added, "It was also focused on the service aspects required at this stage in terms of reconstruction and meeting the basic needs of the people of the region, and the possibility of reaching the required level so that all the people live with the level of service that is commensurate with their sacrifices, visions and aspirations in the future of Syria."
