HPG: 6 Turkish occupation army soldiers killed in Xakurk

The People's Defense Forces announced the killing of 6 Turkish occupation army elements, as a result of an operation carried out by their forces in the area of Xakurk in memory of the martyrs of May.

The Media Center of the People's Defense Forces issued a statement concerning the series of operations carried out by their forces against the Turkish occupation army in separate areas in Northern and Southern Kurdistan.

Targeting of Turkish army warplanes point with two drones

A statement by the People's Defense Forces stated that the Martyr Dalal Air Defense Forces carried out an air operation on the night of May 18-19 against a warplanes parking place belonging to the Central Command of the Turkish army in Amed.

The statement added, "The first drone targeted a building where officers and personnel of the Turkish Air Forces were staying, while the second one targeted the warplanes' point. The two operations resulted in powerful explosions in the building of the Central Command of the warplanes, while the number of dead pilots and Turkish occupation army's elements has not been known."

As part of the Zagros Revolutionary Hawks Campaign, 6 members of the occupation army were killed

The statement also stated: "At exactly 00:30 on May 18, our forces carried out a military operation targeting a Rio-type vehicle of the Turkish occupation army in Xakurk area, while it was passing through the area between Kefurti and Lelkan. The operation resulted in the complete destruction of the vehicle and the death of at least 6 elements of the occupation army."

The statement stated that this operation came in memory of the martyrs of May.

According to the statement of the People's Defense Forces, their forces carried out, on May 18 and 19, a series of military operations against the Turkish occupation army in separate areas in Northern and Southern Kurdistan with the lack of confirmed information about the losses of the Turkish occupation army.
