Ibrahim added: "What has been put forward by the regime serves only the powers involved in Syrian affairs, and everyone should know that, Kurd, Arabs and Syriac, alike, are losers in the event that they carry out such policies."

Ibrahim noted the need to understand and act on those policies and to take dialogue as a way of reaching solutions, rather than military.

Osman Ibrahim called on the clans to "line up and raise the word of society in northern and eastern Syria, address all attempts to divide the components, and foment discord."

"The clans and political parties in the north and east of Syria, in their various components, must work on the ground to curb such attempts against the people of the region, not only to make statements, to condemn and denounce, and to act immediately to expose those policies and to educate the people of the region."
