KCK: People should back Guerrilla, stand up to attacks

The Co-Presidency of the KCK 's Executive Council in the Kurdistan communities  Union issued a written statement regarding the Turkish occupation army's attacks against the legitimate defense zones.

The statement reads: “On the night of April 23-24, the Turkish state launched a large-scale attack in the legitimate defense areas controlled by the  Guerrilla forces, and it was expected that the Turkish state would carry out such an attack, after their defeat in Gara on February 10.  This genocide plan was prepared in the summer of 2014, with the aim of eliminating the Kurdish people's struggle for freedom, and completing its extermination, as the attacks target a large area of ​​legitimate defense areas controlled by the Guerrilla forces.

 'The attacks coinciding with the anniversary of the Armenian Genocide is intentional'

 The statement also stated: “The attack was deliberately launched in conjunction with the anniversary of the Armenian Genocide, and it is a clear message that“ Just as we have eliminated the Armenians, we will also eliminate you. ”  we will eliminate the Kurds with the support and silence of America, Germany and European countries.

 'International forces and the KDP agreed to attack'

The KCK's co-presidency noted that the Turkish state had gained the acceptance and approval of the international forces to launch this attack, and added: “The silence of the Kurdish political forces, especially the Kurdistan Democratic Party, means the legitimization and approval of these attacks, and the Kurdish political forces and the Kurdish people must reject these attacks in the past.  Any place where the Kurdish people are under attack, and the silence of the Kurdish political forces is inconsistent with their national responsibilities. "

 'The Iraqi government should clarify its position.'

 The statement also continued: “The Turkish state is ignoring the Iraqi political will with the attack it is carrying out, and threatening the territorial integrity of Iraq. Therefore, if Iraq takes a stand against these attacks, this matter will make them unlawful. But if it does not take any position, this will enhance the legitimacy of this attack.  And it will affect the territorial integrity of Iraq as well. "

 'This attack aims to exterminate the Kurds, and the Kurdish people must rise up everywhere'

 The statement called on the Kurdish people to stand by the  Guerrilla forces in their resistance to the attacks of the occupation, adding: “The Kurdish people, friends and democratic forces must realize that this attack is aimed at extermination, and that it does not target only the  Guerrilla forces, but the rest of the Kurdish people.  Through the elimination of the Guerrilla and this matter is not limited to the Kurdish people in Northern Kurdistan only, but all free forces in all parts of Kurdistan, and thus the extermination of the Kurds. Therefore, this attack targets the freedom fields in southern Kurdistan and Rojava as well.

 We must not wait for this occupation to be ended only by the Guerrilla resistance;  Because it aims to exterminate the Kurdish people, and eliminate their existence.  Therefore, all the Kurdish people should rise up everywhere and unite with the  Guerrilla forces.  Because the people's struggle for freedom and democracy will not achieve victory through the struggle of the Kerala only.  Rather, the people should unite with the Guerrilla and wage an all-out struggle against colonialism and genocide. "
